A Doodle survey was sent to partner institutions to determine the date of the project’s first transnational meeting. According to the results of this survey, the date range suitable for each partner institution was determined to be 08.09.2022-09.09.2022. The first transnational meeting was decided to be held at Şırnak University campus under the coordination of Şırnak University on these dates. On 26.08.2022, the CPIP institution sent an email stating that Şırnak was put on the red list due to being a terrorist region by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and therefore they could participate online. Then, on 31.08.2022, the EU&PRO institution also stated that they would participate in the meeting online. Consequently, the first TPM was conducted online with the decision of all partners. All partner institutions participated with their representatives in the online meeting.
On the first day of the two-day meeting, each partner institution made presentations prepared for the introduction of their institutions. Subsequently, our institution discussed the planned timeline based on a brief presentation about the project content with the partners. In the second half of the first day of the meeting, discussions were held on the subheadings and task distribution for the first output, the Report on Youth Studies in Rural Areas. Accordingly, with the decision of all partner institutions, a survey was added to the report. It was decided that Şırnak University would lead the preparation of the surveys with the support of Beytüşşebap Municipality. Additionally, each partner institution decided to implement the surveys.
