The Rural Entrepreneurship Toolkit aims to address the critical need for enhancing knowledge and participation levels within the apiculture sector, recognizing the pivotal role of honey production as a significant revenue source for national economies. While the European Union (EU) stands as the largest importer of honey and a major exporter of high-quality honey worldwide, Turkey, ranking third in global honey production, has yet to fully leverage its potential in international markets. The kit endeavors to bridge this gap by elevating the expertise and capacity of industries and individual producers involved in bee product cultivation, processing, and marketing. However, the rural youth’s integration into the apiculture sector faces barriers due to the lack of entrepreneurship education and resources. Effective training modules and a comprehensive entrepreneurship toolkit are indispensable for achieving our set objectives. Specifically targeting NEETs, rural young women, agricultural students, young workers in various agricultural domains, institutions offering apiculture-related education, youth struggling to find employment in rural and remote areas, and youth workers and organizations engaged in youth employment, the kit seeks to provide a detailed roadmap tailored to the needs of these target groups. By empowering and equipping individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge, the kit endeavors to foster entrepreneurship and facilitate meaningful engagement within the apiculture sector.
